Experience their famed Lotus dumplings with a selection of modern Chinese dishes showcasing the best of Australian produce. The Galeries has seafood tanks so you can enjoy a selection of live seafood.

About the Supper Club

Following the success of the first Supper Club in August it is now set to be a regular event for the SGLBA Education Fund, bringing together a group of people for an intimate dinner, entertainment, networking and socialising.

A small amount from each ticket sold will go to support the Education Fund in its objective of providing grants to LGBTIQ+ Individuals, aged over 30, to undertake a course of study which meaningfully, substantially and demonstrably benefits their life or, through them, the lives of other people within the Australian Community.

Magician David Lowe from ‘Lowe and Behold’

Magician David Lowe has performed for many celebrities and spent eight years as a roving, and on-stage magician, at The Star Casino. He performed during the opening of the Sydney Olympic Stadium and has carried out thousands of magic shows for a variety of parties and special occasions as a professional magician. We are honoured to have David support The Fund.

Lotus Galeries is the largest restaurant in the group with 260 seats. The restaurant boasts 5 private dining rooms, ranging in size from 8 persons to up to 40 persons. With a desirable cocktail lounge and a dumpling bar, Lotus Galeries is the perfect destination for any occasion.

The SGLBA Education Fund was created to make a difference. As part of Sydney’s premier LGBTIQ business organisation, we wanted to give our professional members the opportunity to contribute to the success of others within our community. We focus on LGBTIQ individuals over the age of 30 who may have thought that the chance for meaningful education has passed them by. Our Fund offers a second chance. Starting in April 2020, The Fund will provide financial support of up to $10,000 towards the cost of a course of study in a business or commerce-related discipline which helps someone meaningfully and demonstrably change their life, or the lives of others. Through The SGLBA Education Fund, we hope to give SGLBA members the power to make a difference.
