Tech Savvy Seniors Classes

Our Tech Savvy Seniors Classes will allow you to build the skills and confidence required to use computers, tablets, and smartphones for socialising, accessing services, or conducting personal business. Choose from a variety of modules and bring along your own devices.

Program: Please find the full program of weekly modules below. Note that each module you wish to attend requires a separate booking!

• 1 March, 10.00am-12.00pm: Introduction to computers
• 8 March, 10.00am-12.00pm: Introduction to iPads
• 15 March, 10.00am-12.00pm: Introduction of iPhone
• 22 March, 10.00am-12.00pm: Introduction to emails
• 5 April, 10.00am-12.00pm: Introduction to the internet
• 12 April, 10.00am-12.00pm: Identify a scam
• 19 April, 10.00am-12.00pm: Safe online shopping
• 26 April, 10.00am-12.00pm: How to stay safe on your device while overseas
• 17 May, 10.00am-12.00pm: Internet and phone banking

Note: The modules on Friday 3 May and Friday 10 May have been rescheduled to Friday 17 May.

• Bookings are essential per module. Spaces are limited.
• Participants must bring their own devices to the modules they wish to attend.
• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the event.
• You must be a Library member to attend. Library membership is free and you can join online or at any branch.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

• Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings.
