Plan on a Page Workshop

The Plan on a Page (PoP) is a useful tool for checking all the key pieces of your project are present before starting an application.

Objectives:

  1. Gain familiarity with a planning tool
  2. Produce your own "Plan on a Page" for ARC pitches
  3. Learn tips for effective grant writing

Sessions:

Researchers, along with any interested team members, are invited to attend one of the following sessions:

4 December from 10am - 12pm: Discovery Project applications

10 January from 10am - 12pm: DECRA applications

Resources/Prerequisites: Participants will recieve a blank PoP tool upon registration. It is suggested that you familiarise yourself with the PoP before the session, or give it a go and use the session time to revise it. All resources are available via the SASP Landing Page.

Output: A completed version of the PoP to assist with your proposal development

This workshop is part of the Streamlined Application Support Program (SASP), which aims to save time, reduce administrative uncertainty and improve application quality for UWA researchers applying for a 2019 ARC Discovery Project or DECRA. Its features include a set of online resources and a series of workshops available to all UWA researchers.
