About this Event
Arriving in the Swan River Colony on the first merchant ship, the Calista, on 5 August 1829 were two brothers, Lionel and William Samson. The brothers started a successful business and obtained the first licence to sell liquor. With three generations of wealth, politics and community spirit there are many stories to uncover at this National Trust property.
Guided Tours:

Important Information
Samson House is only open for pre-booked guided tours so please register to avoid disappointment. If tours aren't available on your preferred date, you can take a self-guided tour of the historic gardens.
Due to the nature of the tours, no latecomers can be accepted. Please ensure you plan accordingly as tours will start on time.
Please note that large bags, prams, umbrellas or other bulky items cannot be taken into the building.
