Ready, Check: Introduction to the Working with Children Check


This is the first workshop in the Ready, Check, GO! workshop series. If you manage WWC Checks at your organisation, we recommend also registering for one of our GO! sessions here.


Register for this free online workshop to learn about the WWC Check process and how to identify when someone needs to apply.


The workshop will run for ninety (90) minutes and will cover:


• the role of the WWC Screening Unit

• the WWC Check and the wider child safety framework

• how to work out who requires a WWC Check and defining child-related work (including categories and exemptions that may apply)

• how to apply for a WWC Check (including assessment process and possible outcomes)


Please note this is an online workshop. A link to access the workshop via Microsoft Teams event will be sent once you have registered. Sessions are not recorded.
