Working with Children Screening Unit

The Department of Communities’ Working with Children (WWC) Screening Unit is responsible for the compulsory screening strategy, known as the WWC Check, for all people engaging in child-related work across Western Australia and the Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

We run a series of free online webinars and in-person workshops across the year, designed to help organisations and individuals understand their obligations regarding the WWC Check and to administer them in their organisation.

Please register for one of our sessions below and don’t forget to click the “Follow” button above to get alerts when we release new events.

You can phone us on 1800 883 979, email us at WWCEvents@communities.wa.gov.au (event enquiries) or checkquery@communities.wa.gov.au (general advice), or check out our website for more information www.workingwithchildren.wa.gov.au

We hope to see you at one of our workshops soon!
