Parents and Guardians: Your Rights and Obligations (online)

Join the Working with Children Screening Unit for a free online information session to learn more about what rights and obligations parents and guardians have under the WWC Act.

The session will run for one (1) hour and we will provide information on:

• what the WWC Check is and how to know when it is required

• when you might be considered an employer under the WWC Act and what obligations you could have

• the role of the WWC Screening Unit

• things to consider when engaging people or services to work with your kids

• general child safe strategies that can help protect kids

• where to go and how to raise concerns
