Description

The Monash Business Behavioural Laboratory is hosting a free one day symposium on the developments in eye-tracking research and its applications.

Leading experts such as Jacob Orquin (Aarhus University), Svetlana Bogomolova (University of South Australia), Martin Meissner (University of Southern Denmark), Sonja Perkovic (University of Leeds), Angeline Achariya (Food Innovation Centre), David Barnes (Monash Immersive Visualisation Platform), Jella Pfeiffer (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Thies Pfeiffer (University of Bielefeld), Adrian Dyer (RMIT), James Breeze (Objective Experience), Peter Grierson (REA), and several researchers from the Monash Business School, including Harmen Oppewal (Department of Marketing), Carla Wilkin (Department of Accounting), and Kristian Rotaru (Department of Accounting) will be presenting in the following areas:

  • Studying attention and decision behaviour
  • Effort, attention and search
  • Eye-tracking in mobile and virtual environments
  • Using eye-tracking for understanding expertise and training.

The symposium will conclude with an expert panel discussion "A future research agenda for eye-tracking research".
