Grief Circle - A Compassionate Space To Honour Your Loss

Grief Circle - A Compassionate Space To Honour Your Loss

49 Sebring StHolland Park West, QLD
Saturday, Dec 6 from 10 am to 12 pm AEST
Overview

A gentle space to gather, breathe, and be alongside others who understand loss.

As the festive season approaches, many hearts feel the ache of loss.

Amidst all the noise and celebration, grief can feel especially heavy and out of place.

This compassionate Grief Circle, held by two experienced facilitators, offers a quiet space to pause.

You will come together with other people who understand the language of loss.

You will be given a space to breathe, share, and be held in community. What you share in the Circle is up to you; silence and tears are welcome.

This is a compassionate space where your loss is welcome, your story is honoured, and your heart is given room to rest.

Come as you are.

All parts of your experience belong here.

About the facilitators:

Amy Larsen is a Specialist Grief Therapist, Accredited Social Worker and the founder of Brisbane Grief Counselling. She is dedicated to having authentic conversations about life, loss and grief and desires to change the narrative of how we approach grief as a community. She has experience in holding space for groups and individuals and considers it a privilege to walk alongside people as they navigate their way in grief.

Monique Ross is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and the founder of Heartwood Nature Bathing. She has experience facilitating Circle sharing, and has witnessed firsthand the power of nature to help people heal deep grief and reconnect with themselves, others, and the world.

Need to know:

The Circle has a maximum number of 10 participants, and runs from 10am to midday. We begin with a grounding meditation, followed by your reflections and sharings (often in response to a question of prompt.) We wind down with tea and gentle conversation.

This event is held at Neshima Collective, in Holland Park West.
