Description

Global Ready Workshop

Attract more international visitors to your business. The international market is very different from the domestic market and provides a range of benefits to your business.

This workshop will provide businesses with practical knowledge on:

  • Understanding the international marketplace
  • How to ensure your business is ready for international visitors, and
  • How to engage with overseas representatives so they can help promote your product or service.

WHY INTERNATIONAL?

  • Inbound tourism to Australia is at an all time high with strong forecasted growth
  • In 2020 Sunshine Coast will have a new International Airport with increased flights
  • The international market can benefit your business as global travellers generally stay longer than the domestic market and, on average, spend more than the domestic traveller.
  • The international visitor tends to stay mid-week, book further in advance and opens up your product to a range of new distribution channels from all over the world.
  • They also tend to travel at different times of the year than domestic visitors which can help even-out seasonality in your business.
