Description

What’s it all about?

Winter is on its way! There is only one thing better than rugging up in a gorgeous hand-crocheted item...and that it making the gorgeous, hand-crocheted item.

If you are looking for a new hobby and are feeling creative, crochet just might be the thing for you. This workshop is designed for those who have had little to no experience with crochet, so why not come along to learn how to wield a hook and create something special?

What will we do?

In this workshop you will start by learning the basic stitches, such as chain stitches, slip stitches double and treble crochets. You will also learn the abbreviations for stitches and how to follow patterns to make your own pieces.

You will then apply the basics to start a granny square, or a simple project of your choice. You can also bring along an unfinished project that you’re stuck on or just need time to finish.

Please bring a size 4 (4mm) crochet hook & your own 8ply yarn (100% pure new wool preferred).

Alternatively, we can provide suitable materials for an additional $8.00.
