Come and discuss your books that you have been borrowing from the library over an informal chat with other enthusiastic readers. Don't let your opinions on books go to waste - share them, recommend titles to other readers and broaden your own reading selections.

We are sure these discussions will be enlightening, fascinating and unexpected. See you at BookChat!

BookChat is held monthly at Margaret Martin Library on the 1st Wednesday of the month, 2pm-3pm.

Dates: 6 Sept (2023), 4 Oct, 1 Nov, 6 Dec, 7 Feb (2024), 6 Mar, 3 April, 1 May, 5 June, 3 July, 7 Aug. Please note: There will be no monthly BookChat held in January 2024.

• You only need to register once to be able to attend the full program.
• You must be a Library member to attend. Library membership is free and you can sign up at any branch or online today.
• Members will find the BookChat enjoyable when everyone has a chance to voice opinions. There is no right or wrong in the art of literary interpretation. Please ensure you allow others to have their say.
• Please cancel your ticket if you do not wish to attend BookChat anymore. This will enable others to participate.
• Your ticket may be cancelled by the organiser without further notice.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.
• Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
• Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image to be published, please notify staff before the event.
