Can I pay through my school account?

No, we are unable to take payments through school accounts. You can use a school Pcard to pay through the Eventbrite registration page and complete the necessary paperwork in your school setting.

Is this course registered through MYPL?

Accepted Answer

In accordance with new DET guidelines, this course will be teacher-selected; therefore, you are only required to keep your attendance record. Please use your registration confirmation as your evidence. This conference will account for 5 hours of your accreditation.

Question 3

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Accepted Answer

We start taking registrations at 8:30 a.m., but you are welcome to come from 8 a.m. and enjoy tea or coffee.

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

Our venues are generally at schools, which means parking is on the streets near the school. Please be aware that it will be drop-off time from school, so the area will be hectic.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring a laptop and writing materials. You may also consider bringing along ideas and pictures to share during our library speed dating session.

What happens if I can’t attend because I am unwell?

Who do I talk to if I need to leave early?

Please speak to one of the committee members, who will be introduced at the beginning of the conference.

Can I attend if I’m not from a government school?

Yes, we accept registrations from government and non-government schools.

Question 9

Can I attend if I’m not in the South West Sydney region?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we take registrations from all over NSW.

Can I bring my library assistant?

Accepted Answer

Yes, many of our sessions are very appropriate for your assistant. We often provide specific training for our SASS staff. Please check the agenda for more information.

Can you cater for dietary needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our caterers are always happy to cater for dietary needs. Please fill in the registration details so we can accommodate your needs. Your meals will be placed in a separate section and labelled at the conference.
