Please note: training is free however bookings are essential!

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Victoria conducts Award Leader Training for Award Leaders involved in running The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in Victoria.

It is mandatory for all Award Leaders to complete training to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities.

If you are an Award Leader who has already completed training, you may attend as a refresher to keep updated on any changes.

Training will cover:

  • The Award's foundation, impacts and value
  • Award structure, sections & requirements, Assessors and child protection
  • The Online Record Book (ORB)
  • Leadership, employer and tertiary opportunities
  • The Adventurous Journey (AJ)
  • Creating a strong Award Program

Time: 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Please note that Duke of Ed withholds the right to cancel or change training dates due to attendee numbers and capacity.
