We want to give you an opportunity to share your experiences with someone in the same boat, and to have a community of your own.

Why should I come?
We are growing Hear For You's community by reconnecting with those who have attended Hear For You or The Shepherd Centre in the past.
It is not very often, if at all, that young adults/adults who are deaf/hard of hearing get to meet others in a similar situation and share experiences about what they've been through, what they're doing now or basically just to connect with others who get it!
There is always value in networking and connecting with others because you never know what new doors may open as a result.
Plus, free food and drinks........
Is there a cost to attend?
None at all!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
If you are 18 years or over and are in one of the following categories, then this event is for you!
- Have previously attended a Hear For You program/workshop as a participant, or
- A current or past mentor at Hear For You, or
- Have previously attended The Shepherd Centre
- And you must be deaf/hard of hearing/hearing impaired/have hearing loss!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Driving:
- Street parking is available around the venue but limited.
Train:
- Go to Central Station
- Take the Elizabeth St Exit
- Walk straight up Kippax St for 350m
- Canva Space will be on the corner
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You don't have to bring anything. Or maybe just a smile?
If you have a friend who is also deaf or has hearing loss, bring them along! Please make sure you register them via the ticketing link so we have actual numbers :)
