Background
The Victorian Government is progressing three inter-related reforms that will be integral to promoting the wellbeing and safety of children and reducing family violence - the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS), the Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS) and the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework (MARAM). A wide range of organisations and services will be prescribed under all three reforms from 27 September 2018.
Face to Face training program
Two-day, multi-disciplinary, face-to-face Information Sharing and Introduction to MARAM training will commence across the state on 8 October 2018.
The training targets priority participants from across prescribed workforces. Participant places will be limited. Advice on how many places are allocated to your organisation will be provided by your funding or contracting department.
While designed as a two-day program, participants can either attend the full two days, or select the sessions they are required to complete.
Prior to attending, participants are requested to visit www.infosharing.vic.gov.au and review the relevant Ministerial Guidelines and related resources.
