Yidindji Nation, NSW ICC, and the Gaimaragal Group

The Sovereign Yidindji Government is an indigenous Australian micronation that is part of the Australian Aboriginal Sovereignty. Led by Murrumu Walubara Yidindji, members of the Yidindji tribe renounced legal ties with Australia in 2014. The land they claim lies in the state of Queensland and stretches "south of  Port Douglas, through Cairns, inland across the Atherton Tablelands and 80km out to sea”.The chief minister is Gudju Gudju Gimuybara, while Murrumu is foreign affairs and trade minister.

NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce is the first Indigenous Chamber of Commerce in Australia established in 2006 to support Aboriginal People to establish and operate their own businesses and to provide a forum for Business owners to come together to network, to share and to learn from each other. Since its establishment in 2009, the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) has built a respected brand as the Peak Body and Voice for NSW Aboriginal Business. Our focus on nurturing, enabling, accelerating and mentoring Aboriginal Entrepreneurs and Leadership in Aboriginal Communities is key to our success in building sustainable businesses and community organisations. Our advocacy work at all levels of Government has resulted in a national agenda that acknowledges Economic Participation as key to addressing generational disadvantage for Aboriginal people.

The Gaimaragal Group is a business which aims to Inspire, Empower, and Collaborate for Change Creating a new story of connection for all Australians. The Gaimaragal Group has been established to lead social change by bringing people and communities together to find the unity in CommUNITY. We aim to facilitate the voice for our Elders in the contemporary social space, empower our youth to realise their full potential, and provide two-way cultural translation to bring individuals, communities and businesses and together.
