Kathy Lynch

Kathy is the Director of a very very small not for profit charity "Aussie Friends of VOLSET". The charity has been operating since 2006  when Kathy and her daughter Stacey returned to Australia from their voluntary work with VOLSET in Eastern Uganda in late 2005. Over the years Aussie Friends has worked with VOLSET towards HIV testing in remote villages on Lake Victoria, HIV test results analysis, building and supplying a girl's dormitory, purchasing a solar battery, paying for (and help build) a chicken house and chickens (of which were given to HIV+ people), developing training materials for computer skills and sewing skills, purchasing watertanks and hand washing facilities, sponsoring a few children to obtain a reasonable education (at least at Primary level), and in November 2018 we purchased and installed three sewing machines and supplies for the new VOLSET Sewing Centre at the school (in Ntenjeru).
