Kari, Slowclothes
Adelaide-based Slowclothes provides ethical and sustainable fashion inspiration, motivation and education, and sells a gorgeous range of independent, women-run ethical and sustainable labels.
Kari Vallury, Slowclothes Founder and DIrector, has a background in international public health, is currently completing her PhD and building Slowclothes, all while playing Mumma to her vivacious 1 year old. Through Slowclothes, Kari aims to help socially-conscious women, men and young people understand the myriad negative environmental and human rights impacts the fashion industry has, globally and locally. Beyond this, she helps people to understand their role in changing the fashion industry for the better, and empowers people with knowlege and access so they can engage in fashion in a conscious way that actually does good!
