FREEDOM TIME FESTIVAL

Freedom Time is an open air dance festival celebrating life and love through music and sound system culture in the spirit of the carnival, the block party, the park jam and the BBQ! From our humble beginnings in Perth, with the M.O.V.E. Foundation and KBI Sound System shaking the back end(s) of an inner city car park to great effect, Freedom Time took a journey eastward to find a new home at the Coburg Velodrome, therein providing an alternative vision of the the dance music festival with the Crown Ruler and Wax’o Paradiso crews. Growing steadily over the last two and a half years, Freedom Time has seen the DJ powers of Floating Points, Sadar Bahar, Jeremy Underground, Hugo Mendez, Nick the Record, Theo Parrish, DJ Harvey and many more sharing their deep connection to music with us as we’ve danced back to Western Australia’s funkiest car park and held it down at Melbourne’s beloved velo-disco-drome.
