Fran Cahill (also known as Aunt Em) has worked as a senior adminstrator for over 35 years.  Her career included stints at Radio 2EA and SBS TV, living in Aurukun, Western Cape York for five months and while living in Tasmania performing the ‘blue-footed-booby-will-you-marry-me-dance’ in front of a group of local politicians and dignitaries as a Joey Scout leader. 

Her academic background is in Linguistics and she has been writing for over 40 years.
