Cremeria De Luca
It all started in Messina, Sicily
In 1937 nonno Salvatore said: “If you want to be rich, don’t make gelato” but he loved it and gained his licence to sell in the streets of Sicily.
In 1985 Luigi De Luca opened ‘Cremeria Siciliana’ with wife Gavina in Italy
In 1991 Luigi came to Sydney consulting for mass production gelato houses which were suffering
In 1995 The first free standing gelateria ‘La Cremeria’ opened in Norton St Leichardt. Closing in 2009.
In 2000 ‘De Luca Gelateria’ opened just across the famous Bondi Beach
In 2013 The De Luca’s come back to the gelato scene with the opening of ‘Cremeria De Luca’ on 18/04/13.
