Awesome Foundation Sydney

The Awesome Foundation is an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. The Foundation distributes $1000 grants, no strings attached, to projects and their creators. At our fully autonomous chapter, the money is pooled together from the coffers of us ten or so self-organizing “micro-trustees” and given up front in cash, once a month.

Since our foundation in 2011, the Sydney chapter has received more than 700 micro-grant applications and given away nearly $80,000. That's a whole lot of awesome.
