About this event
Zou Mat Je (做乜嘢) is a new bilingual zine featuring voices of people from the Cantonese diaspora. The zine is about our shared multi-cultural identities, our shared histories, and our shared hope for our futures through poetry, comics, essays, photographs, short stories, and creative nonfiction.
Our launch event will feature a beautiful community playlist of songs, nostalgic treats, and local writers Ange Yang, Miriam Wei Wei Lo, and Emily Sun!
We will have food, drinks and stories to share!
Entry is $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds!

Zou Mat Je 係成立係 Bibbulmum 族Whadjuk Noongar人民嘅土地上。
我地向佢地以前、而家同將來嘅長老，同埋所有原族住民致敬。
我地確認佢地從來都冇放棄過主權，所以呢道一直都係，同永遠都會係 Aboriginal 嘅土地。
