Join us for five hours of creative and sensory activities designed to connect you to nature and enhance your health and wellbeing.
Matt Glover is the Lead Guide at Forest Therapy Victoria and the director of MGA Counselling Services. He is a trauma informed counsellor, working with individuals and couples to achieve a full and abundant life. He is Australia's first qualified counsellor to be accredited with the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance.
Laura Cox is a Guide with Forest Therapy Victoria and a counsellor with MGA Counselling Services. She has over 10 years’ experience working as an Outdoor Educator and Bush Adventure Therapist, working with youth and adults in the outdoors.
This walk is designed for those who want to experience a deeper connection with nature and benefit from the health and wellbeing offerings that the bush provides, while also going on a bush walk through the beautiful surrounds of the Dandenong Ranges. This event will go for five hours - please bring your own lunch!

Forest Therapy is an emerging field in the health and wellbeing industry. With recognised beneficial impacts on our immune systems, heart rate, concentration, sleep patterns, and general wellbeing, this is three hours well spent!
Combining a gentle walk with forest therapy activities, participants will experience nature in a whole new way.
On the day of your walk, it is essential you bring the following:
Covered, walking shoes - no open toed shoes please!
Water bottle and snacks. (While social distancing restrictions are in place we will not be doing shared snacks at the end of the walk)
Pen and notebook
Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions.
Please ensure you are wearing sunscreen.
Note that the walk will be cancelled if the weather conditions are deemed to be too dangerous.
