Zero Waste Festival 2022
Event Information
About this event
The theme of this year's festival is: One Person, a World of Difference. Waste is a growing crisis all over the world, and it's going to take each one of us to step up and take action to change that.
Through a packed day of panels and workshops, we will explore practical actions we can take to collectively reduce our impact on the planet and inspire others to join us! Everyone is invited, no matter where you are on your journey to reduce waste.
Attendance to the festival (including stalls, the keynote speech, panel discussions and app launch) is free. RSVP to this event to let us know you're coming and to receive reminders. Workshops at the festival are ticketed with a small cost. Rego and tickets for each individual session will be available closer to the event.
Panel discussions:
• 11:45am-12:30pm: Zero in Our Own Backyard
• 11:00pm-1:45pm: Be a Hero of Zero
• 2:00pm-2:45pm: Our Roadmap to Zero
Workshops (must book in advance):
• 11:00am-11:45am: Food Waste Avoidance
• 12:00pm-12:45pm: How to cut your waste in half
• 1:15pm-2:15pm: Clothes Swap.
There will also be a range of stalls showcasing local organisations and zero waste businesses, as well as a zero waste craft area and face painting for kids.
