*The timing has now been confirmed for next week’s Zero Robotics Championship Event. Due to scheduling considerations at the International Space Station (ISS) and the time difference between Australia and the Zero Robotics headquarters at MIT, our event will now start at 9:30pm, with the live stream commencing at 11:30pm and the first match at 1am.

It’s not every day you get to witness Australian high school student's code used in space and it’s certainly going to be something to stay up late for. One of our talented teams will be kick-off the first round of matches at 1am.

The event will draw to a close at 4:30am, which we appreciate is late, however those lucky night owls might have the chance to see an Australian team win the Championship!

About Zero Robotics
Zero Robotics is a robotics programming competition which allows high school students unprecedented access to the International Space Station (ISS). The robots programmed by competing teams are SPHERES (Synchronized Position Hold Engage and Reorient Experimental Satellites) that reside on board the ISS.

Teams compete in a simulation environment that mimics the real SPHERES and finalists are selected to compete in a live championship aboard the ISS.

The University of Sydney is the Australian Regional Coordinator for Zero Robotics.
