The morning sessions are designed for people who want to know more about why customers around the world love Zendesk. We will show you the basics to great customer service, and how to start your journey with Zendesk. After lunch we’ll delve into the nuts and bolts of Zendesk showing you how to configure Zendesk to get the maximum efficiency out of your support team.

  • Anatomy of a Zendesk Ticket: Beautifully simple and effective


10:30am - 10:45am: Coffee break

10:45am - 12:15pm:Class is back in session covering the following:

  • Apps to help you solve tickets faster
  • Setting up channels: Email, Facebook, Twitter, Zopim Chat & voice
  • Help Center Basics: Creating a Knowledge Base and Community


12:15pm - 1:00pm: Lunch

1:00pm - 3:00pm:Class is in session covering the following:

  • What tags are and how they help
  • Creating custom fields on tickets, users and organizations
  • Creating macros to help you answer tickets super fast
  • Building views to slice and dice your tickets
  • Creating business rules with triggers and automations


3:00pm - 3:15pm: Coffee break

3:15pm - 5:00pm:Class is back in session covering the following:

  • Engaging your customer with user lists, NPS & integrations
  • Insights: How to build advanced reports in Zendesk
  • Time tracking: Learn how to setup and report on how long requests take to answer
  • Branding your Help Center
  • Integrations with 3rd
  • Roadmap: What Zendesk is planning for the future


5:00pm - 6:00pm: Stick around for some snacks and drinks with your classmates and trainers.

Event Presenters: Your trainers for the day will be Peter Godden & Paul Bichsel who are both on the Zendesk Customer Enablement team. You’ll also have the opportunity to build your network and connect with other Zendeskians throughout the day.
