Glitter, glam & pride! Youth Mardi Gras (12–17) in a safe, sparkly space with fashion, photo booth, prizes & live parade

Celebrate Mardi Gras at a youth-only party made for self-expression, creativity and fun. This event is open to ages 12–17 years and is all about being yourself in a safe, welcoming space.

We’ll be live-streaming the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, so you can catch every float, fit and iconic moment. Between parade hype, jump into:

• A photo booth stacked with pride props, pronoun signs and sparkle
• A glitter station to level up your look ✨
• A fashion show where you own the runway!
• Free food and drinks, fun activities and prizes.

You’ll also see some friendly faces from Wellways, MYST and local community services around on the night — there to say hi, answer questions, and connect with young people (including young carers) in a relaxed, no-pressure way.

Expect glitter, good people and a space that’s chill, inclusive and respectful. Bring a friend (or make new ones), show off your style and celebrate pride your way.

This is a fully supervised, alcohol-free and vape-free event, so it’s fun, safe and parent-approved - no stress, just vibes.
