Youth Holiday Event: Felted Coasters Workshop (11-14 years) @ Maroubra

Learn felting and bring home your own felted-coaster in this workshop!

In just one hour, you’ll learn how to turn loose wool fibers into colorful, textured fabric using friction, heat, and pressure - no weaving required. Explore the science behind felting while experimenting with colors and patterns to create your own unique coaster to take home.

Please arrive on time to not miss the instructions.

The same activity will be run at our Maroubra and Randwick library locations. Please book to attend at one location only to give other children the opportunity to join this popular event.

• This event is for those aged 11-14 years. Participants must be signed in and out by a parent/carer.
• You must be a Library member to attend this event. Library membership is free, and you can join online today or at any branch during opening hours.

• If you are unable to attend please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the event.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time. We are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
