Your First Build: From Idea to Live App
"In this session, you’ll learn how to take your app from your laptop to the internet — with a real domain, real users, and real payments.
A lot of student projects never leave the laptop — not because the idea is bad, but because the next steps feel confusing.
This workshop makes those steps simple.
If you’ve ever wondered:
how do I put my app or project online?
how do I connect it to a real domain like myapp.com?
how do I let people register or log in?
how do I accept payments?
You’ll get those answers here — clearly and with guidance that applies to your exact situation.
How it works:
Bring your laptop. You’ll ask your questions live.
A Zorentia facilitator will help you understand what you’re trying to do, and you’ll use Zorentia to get a personalised breakdown for your exact scenario — whether it’s domains, deployment, users, or payments. This isn’t a technical lecture. It’s hands-on, practical help for your project. No coding experience needed. You’ll leave knowing:
- how to put your project online
- what to do about your domain name
- how sign-ups/logins actually work
- how payments integrate into an app
- the personalised next step for your project
- how to continue building using Zorentia after the session
Bio (Zorentia): Zorentia is a decision-infrastructure company.
We help anyone understand how to build their software idea by mapping business use cases to the technical research, architecture, and steps needed to execute them.
Most people get stuck between “I have an idea” and “I know how to build it.” Zorentia solves that by giving users clarity: what to build first, why, and how the pieces fit together. Our platform turns vague goals into customised, step-by-step build plans.
In simple terms: we help you understand how to build and launch your app idea — from idea to execution.
