As part of International Student Week, join us for “Your First Aussie Souvenir” at ET103 on the Bendigo Campus. This hands-on creative session runs on Wednesday 11 March from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Led by artist Oscar Freire Arrais, this workshop invites you to design and create your own Aussie keepsake. Every student will walk away with a finished souvenir, and for many, it may be the very first memento marking the beginning of their journey in Australia.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the artwork is created using recycled clothing materials, transforming fabric into meaningful keepsakes. Your souvenir becomes more than just something you made, it represents connection, creativity, and a thoughtful step toward a more sustainable future.
