Xchange 2024

Xchange 2024 is the first of its kind, a brand new buildingSMART Australasia annual event running over 2 days. It combines a unique technical learning experience on Day 1, and a line-up of handpicked speakers who will discuss how Digital transformation and open standards are changing the infrastructure industry on Day 2. This inaugural event is a must for anyone working in the infrastructure sector.

Day 1- Technical Short Course:

Join us at UTS (Building 11- FEIT) for The OpenBIM with IFC Short Course, a 1-day series of workshops offering a technical training program covering core buildingSMART technologies and digital workflows applicable to building and civil infrastructure projects. The workshop provides an opportunity for subject matter experts to share knowledge and best practice in the concepts and application of buildingSMART technologies, and for attendees to gain a Certificate and Digital Badge from bSA and the University of Technology in the use of IFC in the AECO industry.

Industry partners include: Eric Bugeja, Ian Howell, Holger de Groot, Scott Beazley, John Mitchell, Jon Mirtschin, and A/Professor Julie Jupp.

Day 2 - Conference:

Day 2 of buildingSMART Australasia's inaugural Xchange event serves as the Conference, packed with insightful presentations, panel discussions, and fantastic opportunities for networking throughout the day.
