Michelle Birrell is an independently published author with over 60 contemporary romance novels written under the nom-de-plume, Emma Lea. She was a finalist for the Romantic Book of the Year in 2020 and 2022 and a finalist for the Romance Writers of Australia short story competition in 2018.
