Join us to discuss and compare multiple genres of writing, from novels and screenplays, with writer and filmmaker Margaret M. MacDonald.

Writers of all genres are invited to workshop and discuss inspirations, ideas, methods, and more for penning unique worlds, whether realistic or fantastic. So bring along your pen and a desire to dive into another world!

About the presenter

Margaret M. MacDonald has written genre-spanning screenplays and novels, and also directed several films. The fourth book in her newest sci-fi novel series, The Phoenix Effect, is due to arrive in 2026. Margaret was the Don Bank Studio Writer in Residence in 2023.
