About this event

  • 2 hours

Getting back to nature and worm farming is such a rewarding thing to do. The worms eat so many of our food scraps, leaves, paper and dead flowers and convert it into a soil conditioner. You can use the castings and liquid in your garden and pot plants. If you would like to know more, perhaps this free workshop is for you. Better still, for residents of the Wollongong City Council Local Government area, we are giving away a FREE worm farm (one per household). To qualify you must attend the whole workshop, be a resident of Wollongong’s LGA and have not received another compost/worm farm or bokashi bucket in the last 2 years from Wollongong City Council. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Parking for The Discovery Centre, Wollongong Botanic Gardens, is available in our carpark, off Madoline Street.
