World NGO Day: Celebration Picnic (Geelong)

Thank the staff, volunteers, friends and family in your life with our community picnic celebrating World NGO Day.

Come and celebrate World NGO Day with us! Know someone you want to thank for their hard work with a Non-Government Organisation? We’d like to connect, reflect and celebrate with all of our wonderful community members who make a difference in the world! Bring your staff,volunteers, family, friends and neighbours and join us for a casual fish and lunch. This is a chance to relax, chat and meet new friends whilst soaking up the last of the February sun. Some food supplied, BYO food and drinks encouraged. 

What You’ll Enjoy:

• Opportunities to catch a fish with all equipment provided, including rods, tackle, and bait
• Connection, story-sharing and laughs with other NGO participants
• A small BBQ lunch, drinks and sides. BYO food and beverages encouraged, sharing welcomed. Please note that packaged food and drink is preferred, otherwise please include all ingredients for homemade items. Fishcare is not responsible for the safe handling of food provided by participants. 
• Some chairs, tables, picnic rugs etc provided. BYO encouraged.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a booking, please cancel via Eventbrite as soon as possible - these sessions are sought-after, with limited spaces available.

Cancellation of a session may be required by the organiser when predicted adverse weather or other conditions may be unsafe or unsuitable - notifications will be made via email & mobile SMS, sometimes within 24 hours of the intended start time.
