Tour &amp; Talk: Digitisation Centre of Western AustraliaCome join us for an intimate tour of the Main Digitisation Laboratory of the Digitisation Centre of Western Australia.Get an intimate behind-the-scenes look at how we preserve and digitise 2D and audiovisual material from across WA. Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the processes and share interesting insights about the work.Bring your questions and curiosity - the tours are limited to small numbers to allow time for Q&A during the tours and a chance to chat with the technicians and management staff.

Two tours will run, each limited to 10 people:Tour One: 11.00am - 12.00pmTour Two: 1.00pm - 2.00pmYou are invited to join colleagues between 12.00 - 1.00pm at the Catalyst Cafe downstairs at the Library (refreshments not included).

Agenda

Participants must arrive early and register prior to the tour starting. Meet in the Foyer of the Barry Marshall Library where you will be met by AMaGA WA staff. Latecomers will not be permitted to join the tour once it starts. 

Tour 1: Arrival and registration.

Join DCWA Manager Janet Luk on a guided tour of the Centre. You will meet the technical staff, be introduced to the purpose, projects, and spaces of the Centre. 

Tour 1: Explore the Digitisation Centre WA

AMaGA WA staff will be lunching at Catalyst Cafe downstairs at the Library and you are invited to join prior to, or following your tour. This is informal and not included in the cost of the tour.

Meet AMaGA WA staff at the Barry J Marshall Library ground floor foyer to register for the Tour. Late arrivals will not be able to join the tour after it leaves the Foyer.
