Make-a-Thing Jam with Helen KwokIn this workshop, artist game-maker Helen Kwok will be sharing her experience with game jams, how it’s helped her artistic practice, and became seeds of ideas to bigger projects. Helen will then facilitate a short but sweet “make-a-thing” challenge with participants. Join us in an afternoon of making and jamming, and meet some fellow artists and game-makers along the way! No prior experience required, and beginners are most welcome. We’ll provide some art materials for the jam session, but feel free to bring your own laptop! The Artist: Helen is a Hong Kong-born multimedia artist and designer who creates playful installations, experimental games, and public art activations. Her creative practice often involves blending the digital and physical, crafting experiences that playfully extend beyond the screen. Based in Melbourne, she has showcased her work across Australia and around the world.WHEN: 3–5PM, Saturday 3rd December 2022WHERE: Muzium Telekom, Kuala LumpurCAPACITY: 20 participantsCOST: Free (registration required)
