Join us for a one-night-only printmaking party celebrating the conclusion of the Australian premiere of Pasar Malam | Night Market: Contemporary Printmaking from Indonesia and Australia.Led by artists Jocelyn Tribe (Darwin) and Alfin Agnuba (Yogyakarta), Hacking Kracking is a collaborative printmaking experience developed by acclaimed Indonesian collective: Krack! Studio.Artists are invited to “hack” each other’s visual languages and “krack” open new forms of experimentation through shared process, dialogue and negotiated decision‑making. Local communities are then invited to “nongkrong” (hang-out) and engage in a mutual exchange of ideas and knowledge celebrate the art of printmaking.Discover the art of printmaking and recycle old clothing. Bring your favourite shirt, tote bag, or fabric and take home a uniquely printed piece.Expect traditional Indonesian nasi tumpeng and teh kotak (iced tea), karaoke, and a friendly, come-and-go atmosphere inspired by nongkrong (hang-out) culture.Suitable for ages 16+ | $15 | Limited places | Bookings essentialBYO shirt, tote or fabric!Key InformationThe workshop will be held in Darwin Community Arts. Bookings are essential.Ticket price includes: one print session and one meal.CateringThe nasi tumpeng is a communal dining experience with rice, vegetables, chicken and tempe.
