8.30am THE ROLE OF WORK DESIGN IN CREATING FLOURISHING WORKPLACES

Lucy Brogden, Organisational Psychologist, and National Mental Health Commissioner

Lucy has a strong commitment to helping others and building stronger communities. Her primary areas of focus are issues facing Women and Girls and Mental Health and Wellbeing particularly in the workplace and the community. She takes an evidenced based approach to problem solving and social investment.

Lucy has more than 25 years’ commercial experience with companies including Macquarie Group and Ernst & Young and more than ten years in organisational psychology. Specifically, Lucy has worked in trusted advisory roles with some of Australia’s leading CEO’s, Managing Partners, Ministers and Chairs in investment banking, finance, law, and government. In 2015, Lucy was named as one of the 100 Women of Influence in Australia.

In her spare time, Lucy rows surfboats in a Masters crew with Bilgola Beach.


9.15am THE CRITICAL ROLE OF LEADERS IN WORKPLACE WELLBEING

Geoff Dutaillis, Group Head of Sustainability, Lendlease

Geoff provides strategic leadership and has functional responsibility for Lendlease’s global approach to sustainability, which is all about people. Creating a sustainable future for people is at the heart of Lendlease’s vision ‘to create best places’ – which means getting it right for the environment, society and the economy. Geoff has more than 30 years of international property and renewable energy industry expertise. This includes equity and debt capital markets and M&A experience.

Prior to his current role, Geoff was CEO at Infigen Energy Pty Ltd, an ASX listed, specialist renewable energy business from 2005 to 2013.

Geoff began his career in 1986 with Civil & Civic (part of Lendlease) working for more than 19 years in numerous site, project management, development, and project director roles in Australia and internationally.


9.45am CASE STUDY: HOW WELLBEING PROGRAMS CAN BE GOOD FOR BUSINESS

Ben Murray, Head of Branded Retail, Optus

Ben is a leader with extensive experience in telecommunications, telecommunications retail, speciality retail, mass retail, prepaid distribution, payment platforms and digital adoption. He has significant License and Franchise experience, and experience in launching and managing white label product arrangements.

Ben specialises in delivering innovation through payment platforms and technology for a better customer experience. His experience includes digitising the payments platform with App, online, tokenisation and 3rd party payment functionality.

He leads a team of 1,600 people with a focus on individual excellence. His leadership philosophy supports a highly engaged team who deliver exceptional results both professionally and personally, with the ability to turn around performance and engagement in relatively short periods of time.

Ben has consistently delivered double-digit year on year growth. He is experienced in taking distribution strategy from concept to implementation of structural change.


10.15am GAMIFIED WELLBEING: WHY DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IS THE KEY TO ENGAGEMENT

Anna-Louise Bouvier, Executive Director, Happy Body At Work

Anna-Louise is the creator of ABC Commercial’s multi award-winning Happy Body At Work wellbeing programs. The programs have rolled out to over 25,000 employees in organisations as diverse as Optus, the ASX, Minter Ellison, Catholic Care, the University of Sydney, the ATO, UTS and the CSIRO.

She is also the creator and Executive Director of Physiocise, which over the past 20 years has taught over 66,000 classes to people with bad backs and wobbly bodies. She also consults to the Waratahs, Brumbies and Wallabies on overuse injuries.

She is a regular on the ABC with James Valentine and on the Today Show. She is also an Ambassador for Arthritis NSW and for COASTREK.

Anna-Louise was an expert on the ABC's Making Couples Happy and Making Australia Happy. She is an international corporate speaker and was named Australian Fitness Presenter of the Year.
