This is a must-attend event for new kinship carers who are being supported by the DCP Kinship Care Program and progressing through their initial or full carer assessment.

We will explore:

• your role and responsibilities as a kinship carer within DCP

• the support you can expect from the care team

• carer assessment, approval, and review processes

• your role in making decisions about the health and well-being of your child

• what to do and who you can call when you need help.
