Course Summary

Find out how workforce planning can maximise workforce efficiency and help your organisation to achieve their goals. In this course you’ll be guided through the process of developing and implementing a workforce plan. You’ll discover why organisations need workforce plans, how they enable organisations to achieve long-term objectives, and how workforce planning can become a continuous process that aligns to your organisation’s strategy and business planning.

You’ll learn how to examine external operating environments, analyse current and future workforce supply and demand, identify risks and opportunities, and create, implement and monitor workforce plans. At the end of this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge needed to develop, implement and monitor your own workforce plans, and ensure your organisation has the right people, with the right skills at the right time.

Tess' Strategic Workforce Planning methodology has won an Australian HR Institute Leadership Award, and is the premise of the Human Capital Institute Strategic Workforce Planning Certification program (the only certification in this space).
