Join us for a 45 minute session as we discuss the recently announced NSW Workers Compensation reforms.

The goal of the reforms is to ensure the sustainability of NSW Scheme, affordability for NSW employers and care and support for workers through a number of changes.

During the session, James Heagney (Head of Health and Rehabilitation, icare) and David Huxley (Relationship Manager, icare's Mobile Engagement Team) will take you through the changes at a high level.


This will include;

  • New eligibility requirements for primary psychological injuries
  • Changes to the duration of weekly payments for primary psychological injuries
  • Whole Person Impairment assessment updates
  • Changes to employer excess
  • Other updates


You will also hear about the proposed timings and implementation of the reforms, as they stand at current day.
