Michael Atherton is an iconic multi-instrumentalist, composer, author and professor. A pioneer in Australian music, he has earned some of the highest distinctions in arts and education: a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Emeritus Professor, as well as a Member of the Order of Australia.
