Join Moruya Library and Council's sustainability team for our fabulous sourdough workshop. Turn your homemade sourdough into a delicious pizza in our woodfire oven!

You will learn about:

- the benefits of making sourdough, for yourself and the environment

- the history of sourdough

- looking after a starter culture

- pizza making with sourdough. Bonus! You get to taste some delicious pizza fresh from the oven

This sourdough workshop is open to adults and young people aged 12+, no matter their skill level. Attendees aged 12-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Learn about the importance of home-made food, how baking sourdough can save you money and the environment, and how even the busiest can find time to bake sourdough.

Terms and conditions

  • Your attendance at events supported by Eurobodalla Libraries may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council’s websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session, you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
  • Bookings are essential and spaces are limited.
  • A maximum of 4 tickets can be booked per event.
  • Age ranges are placed on events to ensure children have the best experience possible. Please do not book your child into an event if they do not meet this requirement.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

Cancellations

  • Our events often book out. If you are unable to attend, please let us know before the event so we can allocate your spot to another person.
  • Occasionally, we need to cancel an event due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel an event you will be notified via email or telephone and your ticket fee will be fully refunded. Events cancelled by Eurobodalla Libraries will not incur a cancellation fee.
  • You can cancel your ticket up to 48 hours before the start of an event and have your ticket fee refunded. These cancellations will incur a small Eventbrite booking fee. To cancel, log into Eventbrite using the email you used to purchase your ticket.
  • If you need to cancel within 48 hours and would like to discuss your situation with the Library Coordinator please email library@esc.nsw.gov.au
