Women's Safety Workshop
A free two-session event on safety awareness and preparedness for women residents in the Parkville Gardens neighbourhood
The first session of this free women's safety workshop will take place from 6.30 -7.30 pm on Thursday 5 March, starting on the Galada Ave Reserve. It will include input from Victoria Police and the City of Melbourne on strengthening women's safety awareness and readiness, information about useful apps, and time for questions and discussion. Children will be minded and light refreshments served at the end of the session.
The second session will take place from 7.30 - 8.30 pm on Wednesday 25 March. Participants will meet at the Ross Straw Pavilion on Oak St, Parkville. There will be a short twilight walk in Royal Park, followed by input from a member of Parliament, plus discussion and light refreshments.
