About Women In Print Australia

Women in Print is fifteen years young, with Susan Heaney, our Queensland Patron, one of the original founding Patrons (a shout out to that commitment!). Karen Goldsmith, originally under GAMAA and later Visual Connections, from the founding of the organisation led the charge of Women in Print for more than a decade before stepping down and handing the reigns to Sarah Moore, Visual Connections over the past two years. Under the Visual Connections’ management, the Women in Print Breakfast series achieved year on year record attendance, increased engagement and a growing movement that forms the new Women in Print community today.

About Man Anchor

At Man Anchor we want to educate and empower the community to have tools to support their own wellbeing and that of the wider community. In Australia one in five (20%) Australians aged 16-85 experience a mental illness in any year. 45% of Australians will live with a mental health disorder in their lifetime. Suicide is the leading cause of death in males aged between 16-44.

We at Man Anchor believe it's imperative that all Australians have a basic understating of mental health, the signs and symptoms and how to support a loved one if faced with a mental illness.

"I believe knowing the signs of a mental health disorder like depression is just as important as knowing resuscitation" ~ Steven Gamble , Founder of Man Anchor
