Wiser Driver Education Program

This friendly, informative four-session program helps older adults stay confident and independent on the road.

Are you a responsible older driver who wants to upgrade your knowledge and build on your experience in the company of your peers in an informal and friendly setting?

Manningham Council with Access Health and Community together offers a free comprehensive program to help keep you driving confidently.

You’ll learn about:

• challenges for older drivers
• safety tips for wiser driving
• latest road safety rules
• car safety features
• being roadworthy
• planning for the future
• alternative travelling methods
• VicRoads and other resources for older drivers.

Please note: This program consists of four weekly sessions held on Tuesdays.

Participants must attend all four sessions.

Session dates are:

• Tuesday 5 May 2026 - 10:30am to 12:30pm
• Tuesday 19 May 2026 - 10:30am to 12:30pm
• Tuesday 26 May 2026 - 10:30am to 12:30pm
• Tuesday 2 June 2026 - 10:30am to 12:30pm
