Women’s Boat Trailer Reversing Clinics and Marine Licence test - Mornington

Are you a current or aspiring female boater? Then you’re invited to a fun and educational day at Schnapper Point Boat Ramp Mornington where you can improve your boating skills, gain confidence and meet like-minded women.

The day will include:

• 45 min boat trailer reversing clinics running from 9:45am – 4:30pm

• A 2-hour session from 9:30-11:30am for those who’d like to obtain their marine licence to drive a boat or jetski

• Time for networking over a light lunch at noon

All sessions are free to register but bookings are essential. Come for one or all of the sessions!

Hosted by the Victorian Fisheries Authority and the Women in Fishing and Boating Network, we’re partnering with Peninsula Boat Training to deliver these sessions. These clinics are made possible through the Victorian Government’s Better Boating Fund, which reinvests boaters’ licence and registration fees into improved facilities and programs for recreational boaters across the state.

Trailer Reversing Clinics

Learn to reverse your boat trailer like a pro at our hands-on boat trailer reversing clinics. Expert instructors will step you through how to reverse your boat trailer with ease and provide information on the overall process of launching a boat. There will be lots of opportunities to practice with 2 trailers operating throughout the clinics with 3 people per trailer.

Marine Licence Testing

We are also offering a free marine licence test from 9:30am-11:30am, where women can complete the test in a comfortable indoor setting.

Participants who register for this course will receive mandatory pre-reading course notes in advance.

Whether you're a beginner or just looking to brush up on your skills, this clinic is perfect for boating enthusiasts of all levels.
